Legal — Terms, Consumer Rights & Policies

This page summarises your rights under Australian law, key rental terms, insurance options and dispute procedures for Kelvarix car rental services across Australia.

Consumer rights in Australia

Kelvarix operates under the Australian Consumer Law (ACL). You have statutory guarantees for services and goods which cannot be excluded, including that services are rendered with due care and skill, are fit for their specified purpose and supplied within a reasonable time.

  • Faulty or misrepresented vehicles may entitle you to a remedy.
  • Refunds or re-performance may apply where services fail to meet guarantees.
  • These rights are in addition to any voluntary Kelvarix policies.

For more information, see the ACCC guidance on consumer rights: accc.gov.au
